12 Months Warranty All pre-owned items purchased from HomeShosts come with a 1-year (12 months) warranty from the date of purchase.
If the consumer is entitled to a replacement product, the store must provide a product that is identical, or of similar value. If this is not available, the store can choose to give a refund or repair the product within a reasonable time. Refund and repair rights apply to the replacement product in the same way as the original product.
Defects in Materials and Workmanship
The warranty covers “defects in materials and workmanship that affect the functionality or integrity of the collectible item” which includes:
Covered Defects:
Manufacturing flaws that compromise structural integrity
Broken or damaged components present at time of delivery
Incomplete or missing original parts
Color fading or discoloration beyond normal aging
Deterioration of materials faster than reasonably expected
Packaging damage that affects the collectible’s value
Authentication or certification errors
Not Covered:
Normal wear and tear from display or handling
Damage caused by improper storage or display conditions
Environmental damage (sunlight exposure, humidity, etc.)
Damage from accidents, drops, or impacts after delivery
Modifications or alterations made by the customer
Cosmetic imperfections that don’t affect functionality
Age-appropriate patina or expected aging of materials
All collectibles purchased from HomeShosts come with our standard 12-month warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship as described in our warranty terms.
